Marble Imaging Earth Observation reimagined

Gender Equality Plan

Introduction

At Marble Imaging, we are committed to an inclusive and fair working environment. We recognise that diversity and equal opportunities are key drivers of innovation and long-term success. This Gender Equality Plan sets out the principles, measures, and monitoring framework that guide our approach.

Commitment

Marble Imaging commits to integrating gender equality principles into all aspects of its operations including:

1. Work–Life balance

We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, access to parental leave as described by the German laws and conduct regular employee surveys on well-being and work–life balance.

2. Gender balance in leadership and decision-making

To increase and achieve gender balance, we at Marble are committed to balanced representation in management and decision-making roles, transparent promotion and evaluation processes and offering mentoring and career development opportunities for underrepresented groups.

3. Recruitment and career progression

We at Marble prepare gender-neutral job advertisements and recruitment materials, ensure we have balanced shortlists of candidates wherever possible, conduct structured evaluation procedures to reduce bias and provide equal access to training, mentoring, and professional development to all genders.

4. Preventing harassment and discrimination

We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, and gender-based violence, we have established confidential reporting channels and clear escalation procedures, we provide access to external, independent support when needed and we conduct regular awareness and information measures for staff.

5. Training and Awareness

We conduct Gender-sensitive leadership training for senior staff and regular workshops on equality, diversity, and inclusion for all employees.

6. Monitoring and evaluation

We at Marble have established Diversity, Equality, Justice and Inclusivity policy and have a Gender Equality officer to oversee the implementation and monitor the progress of the DEIJ and GEP initiatives. The GEP officer collects and analyses gender-disaggregated data on a regular basis and regular evaluations of GEP effectiveness will be conducted. The Marble management board is committed to equal opportunities, a safe workplace, and a culture where ability and performance determine success. This plan will be reviewed annually, updated with new measures and targets, and published on the company website.
